Home Comforts is a well established family-run upholstery service based in Dartford, Kent, offering a unique leather repair, re-upholstery and sofa breakdown service to your door.

Unlike most, we have remained a reliable, realistic and independent upholstery service, not bound by the large furniture manufacturers or insurers and service providers, so as the customer you are always guaranteed a friendly and personal service without the "hard sell" of the larger firms.

All of our upholsterers are time-served, trade craftsmen and founder Jason M Cogley is a fully-qualified upholsterer from the Guildhall University of London and was awarded by the Worshipful Company of Upholders in 1997 for quality workmanship. He served a full trade apprenticeship with a top London-based furniture company, part of the Association of Master Upholsterers. Having worked for multiple insurance-based and warranty companies, he noticed there was a real need for a quality, cost-effective, reliable and friendly furniture service to your door, providing a one-stop solution for all your furniture requirements.

We offer an on-site or in the home electric and manual recliner repair service. We carry a large stock of electric recliner motors, handsets and spare parts and can often return your favourite recliner chair to full working order in a single visit to your home.
