Leather Cleaning and Conditioning

In addition to our leather repair we offer a first-class leather suite and sofa cleaning and conditioning service. With our regular leather cleans the age-old problem and insurance policy exclusion of 'Dye transfer' is dramatically reduced, whereby light-colour leather suites, like whites and creams, are prone to colour transfer from jeans and newspapers, and dark colours, whereby a darkening appears on the leather can be extremely difficult to remove with regular cleaners. This is a natural occurrence but those with costly light-coloured suites will be familiar with this situation! Unwanted transfer or marking can usually be removed with our specialist cleaners and leather surfaces re-finished.

This work was completed in a way which put patient's safety as a priority. The covers themselves have already proven to be resistant to coffee stains and other fluids that often get spilled on the ward areas. I am hoping that this will become a robust solution with our inpatient seating bays and would certainly be advocating this as a seating solution in new build areas that we may become involved in within the trust.
